COVID-19 Update
Due to the current situation with the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19, we are currently evaluating whether DevOpsDays Cape Town 2020 should go ahead as planned. Along with the rest of the world, we have been closely watching the latest developments and a decision is likely to be made in the coming weeks. Should any changes be made to the event, including potential cancellation or postponement, we will notify everyone on our mailing list and via all our communication channels, including this page. As a community-run event, DevOpsDays Cape Town strives to build awareness and spread lean, collaborative practises to organisations and individuals.
Cape Town has a thriving technology sector, respected globally, and bringing this international event here helps bridge local specialists with their global counterparts and broaden the community.
We expect 200-300 people this year and will be holding the event on September 17-18, 2020 at the Hilton Doubletree in Woodstock, Cape Town.
The format of DevOpsDays Cape Town includes a single track of 45 minute talks in the morning of each event, followed by shorter talks (5-15 minutes). We spend the rest of the afternoon in Open Spaces, which are considered a key portion of the event.
